 NET Endowment Fund
A gift to NET's Endowment Fund ensures that whatever your passion – history, art, music, science, education, sports – it will continue to flourish for your enjoyment, as well as for the pleasure of your children and grandchildren for years to come.
A permanent endowment gives NET the stability and resilience to weather flexibility from other funding sources, like annual membership and state and federal support. Income generated each year by the endowment funds NET's programs, and as our endowment grows it will in turn allow NET to grow, enabling us to create programs that will inspire the next generation of Nebraskans.
Two options are available for making gifts to NET's Endowment Fund: unrestricted and restricted gifts.
- Unrestricted gifts allow us the flexibility to use the gift wherever it's needed most in the future.
- Restricted gifts allow you to direct your gift to the programming area that makes the most difference to you. Cash gifts of $50,000 and over can be permanently restricted towards your special interests, with the opportunity for a named fund (Examples: John and Mary Smith Education Fund; The Hernandez Foundation Humanities Fund; The Jones Family Sports Fund). Separate funds are available for NET Television and NET Radio. The pie chart below lists the various programming areas:
